Joint & Nerve Care

Joint care that starts with understanding your joint.

Joint pain can change how you walk, sleep, garden, travel and play with your grandchildren. At NexGenEsis Healthcare Hawai‘i, care begins with a careful evaluation of your joint, your history and your goals.

From there, your provider will explain whether an in-office treatment such as PRP, A2M or BMAC may be worth considering, alongside movement guidance and follow-up. Some people will be good candidates. Some will be better served by another kind of care, and we’ll tell you if that’s the case.

Reasons to get an evaluation

Is joint pain getting in the way?

These are common reasons people come to see us. They are reasons to get an evaluation, not a promise that every condition can be treated with our programs.

  • Knee pain and osteoarthritis
  • Shoulder pain and rotator cuff concerns
  • Hip pain
  • Back and neck pain
  • Hand, thumb, wrist and elbow concerns
  • Foot and ankle concerns
  • Tendon and sports-related injuries
  • Mobility limitations
How treatment may work

Different treatments, chosen for different reasons.

These options are not interchangeable, and not everyone receives the same combination. Your provider explains which, if any, may suit your joint and why.

In-office procedure

BMACBone marrow aspirate concentrate

A small amount of bone marrow is collected, usually from the back of the hip bone under local anaesthetic, concentrated, then injected. [VERIFY technique]

A personalized path toward better movement.

Your goals matter, whether that means walking more comfortably, getting back on the golf course, or keeping up with your grandchildren. At NexGenEsis, we explore non-surgical treatment options aimed at reducing discomfort and supporting mobility, with a plan tailored to your needs.

Our team will explain what treatment may offer, answer your questions, and guide you through the next steps so you can make an informed, confident decision.

Results vary. A consultation helps determine whether treatment is appropriate for you.

I’ve been told I’m “bone-on-bone.” Can you still help?

Severe arthritis changes which options make sense. Your provider will review your imaging and examination and give you an honest view, including whether a surgical opinion would be more appropriate.

Do I need an X-ray or MRI first?

Bring any recent imaging you have. Your provider will tell you whether new imaging is needed. [VERIFY imaging process]

How much does treatment cost?

Our services are self-pay, and we accept HSA and FSA cards. Costs depend on your plan and are explained before you decide. No prices are listed on the site.
